Version 1.5.0 – March 7th, 2016:

CPUCores was updated!  Below are the updates:

Version 1.4.1 – January 7th, 2016:

CPUCores was updated!  Below are the updates:

  • Added better support for varied Windows 7/8/10 UAC and multiple Windows accounts
  • Tweaked some default settings to better support more modern games
  • Added a Twitter Button – Please click and Tweet about CPUCores!
  • CPUCores is now multi-lingual! We support the following languages: English, German, Russian, Chinese, Polish, Korean, and French. More will be added upon request!
  • Language settings are auto-detected but can be tweaked in the “Advanced->Languages” area.

Version 1.3.0 – July 24th, 2015:

CPUCores had a MAJOR UPDATE!  There has been an large amount of updates including full game launcher support, Intel vs AMD configurations, Twitch streamer support, and more.

  1. Launcher support (GTAV, Skyrim SKSE, and others are all now easily supported)
  2. Distinction of Intel vs AMD cpu configuration options
  3. A lot of internal changes to make your OS run more efficiently
  4. Ability to “CPUCores It” to existing running games/programs
  5. Ability to White list programs you don’t want CPUCores to touch

  7. Ability to constrain web browsers to squeeze out more CPU for your games

Version 1.2.0 – July 3rd, 2015:

This is update has a lot of internal changes, especially to those with 2 core (dual core) CPUs!

  1. Bug Fix:  Proper support for dual core (2 core) CPU systems with OS and game core isolation.
  2. Bug Fix:  Resolved a button overlap problem with the UNDO button and the checkbox options.
  3. Bug Fix:  Resolved icons not always showing up when using non-Steam games or applications.
  4. Change:  Modified the UNDO button to perform more options when clicked.  It will now restore everything to pre-CPUCore game-run state when clicked
  5. Change:  General increased efficiency on standard operation

Version 1.1.0 – June 29th, 2015:

This is our first update to CPUCores!   Below are the list of updates to the CPUCores program.

  1. Bug Fix:  Program crashing immediately upon hitting the “Start Game”
  2. Feature Addition:  Expanding the ability for the software to keep Games/OS processes in line with their core assignments.  As in, some games try to “break out” of the constraint.  We’ll make that more difficult for games to do so.
  3. Feature Addition:  Greater control over the default OS Core
  4. Feature Addition:  Enhanced ability to constrain OS/non-game processes to the default core (0) and allow your game to have full access to dedicated cores + limited access to the constrained OS core.
